My son is in these pictures from 2005 only 4 weeks old. Little did I know about the journey I was about to embark. I would love to share with you the experience of how I found loving, qualified, and affordable childcare for him (the most precious thing in my life), because I know you want the same for your children. And I’d like to help.
After my first experience with hiring a live-in childcare provider, I realized how much effort and time this search consumes. Time I needed for my family and my career in institutional asset management at the largest bond manager globally. ProAuPair’s carefully screened candidates are looking to continue and advance their careers in childcare and exchange their know-how and love of children for the opportunity to live with an American family, experience the “American Way of Life”, and to gain valuable experience in childcare in the United States. We recruit our loving professionals in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, the United Kingdom, and other European countries and with an increase in families who would like their children learn mandarin, we also recruit pediatric nurses from China.
Our professional Au Pairs have at least two years of theoretical and/or practical education in a childcare-related field, and/or have one year of full-time experience in childcare, and speak proficient English. Most of them hold a certificate or degree from their home country in fields such as
- Early Childhood Development
- Pediatric Nursing (Baby Nurses)
- Nursery, Kindergarten, or Elementary School Teaching
- Special Needs Education, Occupational or Physical Therapy
Some of our Professional Au Pairs can start in as little as four weeks after you decide you are a match.
