We are on the lookout for the professional au pair who embodies the spirit of cultural exchange and provides exceptional childcare. Last year’s winner, Robert Isemer, went on to win the international au pair Association’s Au Pair of the Year Award.
Apex PROaupair will select one Professional Au Pair of the Year and two runners-up. Winners will be announced on January 16, 2017. The Professional Au Pair of the Year winner will receive a $500 Visa gift card and each runner-up will receive a $250 Visa gift card.
To enter, write up a 500 to 800-word essay that describes the characteristics that would make your au pair the “Professional Au Pair of the Year.” Include specific stories or anecdotes from your professional au pair’s time with your family that illustrate these characteristics – how she/he has helped your child/children, positively affected the family, become part of the community, etc.
Be sure to include at least one, but ideally several, clear, high-resolution photos with your essay. The photos should be of your professional au pair with your child/children or family photos of everyone together.
Email your essay and photos to contest@proaupair.com no later than 1/5/2017. To be eligible, your professional au pair must have been on the program in 2016. The Au Pair of the Year and runners-up will also be submitted to the International Au Pair Association’s (IAPA’s) worldwide Au Pair of the Year content. Winners of that contest will be announced in March 2017.
