However, many families have discovered that live-in childcare, provided by a highly trained care professional that joins your family as a professional au pair, is exactly what their family needs.
Apex PROaupair is the only au pair agency specializing in professional au pairs, highly experienced care professionals with degrees in childcare-related fields such as pediatric nursing, occupational and physical therapy, special needs education, and early childhood education and teaching. We are also the only au pair agency dedicated to families with children with special needs.
Unlike most au pair agencies, Apex sources and hand-selects our candidates directly via our long-standing partnerships with schools, colleges & universities in Germany, meeting each one in person, to ensure high-quality, trained professionals. Our placement process is very personalized and we work closely with our host families to find the right candidate.
All of Apex PROaupair’s programs include up to 45 hours per week of live-in childcare with an English-speaking care professional via our professional au pair program. The agency fees are the same, regardless of the number of children in a family – and we offer a convenient “pay as you go” payment option. Once a family has matched with a candidate, we handle all the details, including visa sponsorship, airfare, travel and accident insurance, and yearlong local support.
Apex PROaupair understands that every family is unique and care requirements vary from one family to the next. That’s why we offer three categories of professional childcare: special needs, infant care, and children ages 2+.
